$100,000 Before Adulthood

Sarah Rose Jons just crossed $100,000 in lifetime earnings before adulthood. Here's a look at the horsemanship, the horses, and the program keeping them all going.

As if being a teenager is not busy enough, add in a full string of horses, training, and shows. Oh, and go ahead and check off surpassing $100,000 in lifetime earnings while you are at it.

This is just another month for Sarah Rose Jons.

The impressive, smart, and grounded young gun continues to check goals off her list. Watching her grow, learn, and compete with a true passion for her horses has been something special to be a part of. She does not just show up. She shows up prepared, focused, and ready to go to work with every horse in her string.

That kind of consistency at any age is worth paying attention to. At her age, it is something else entirely.

February on the Road

She started off the month at the Prairie Classic where Lil Ruf N Tuf stepped into the ranch events for the first time and did not disappoint. Sarah and “Lyle” earned Junior Ranch Trail Circuit Champion, Youth Ranch Riding Circuit Champion, Junior Working Western Rail Circuit Champion, and Level 1 Ranch High Point.

Pairing up with Lil JFK,  Sarah picked up Open Ranch High Point and Level 1 Working Western Rail Circuit Champion.

Next it was on to the Florida Reining Classic, where Sarah kept the momentum going.

Piloting Let Err Rip, Sarah earned Reserve Champion in the Run For A Million Non Pro, Reserve Champion in the Non Pro Youth Derby, and 3rd place finishes in the Non Pro and the Non Pro Derby Level 4.

Riding Worthherweightingold, Sarah claimed Reserve Champion in the Non Pro Derby 4-Year-Old Level 4, Reserve Champion in the Novice Horse Derby Level 4, 5th place in the Run For A Million Non Pro, 4th place in the Non Pro Youth Derby, and additional Top 10 finishes in the Non Pro and Non Pro Derby Level 4.

Continuing to add to the list, Sarah and I Dream of Stopping also placed inside the Top 10 in the Run For A Million Non Pro and the Non Pro Youth Derby.

Each horse. Each run. Each trip down the pen contributed to Sarah Rose crossing $100,000 in lifetime earnings.

Great Horses, Epic Horsemanship

Piloting a string of horses through this many runs is not just a physically demanding feat. It is one of the clearest displays of horsemanship you will see at any level of competition.

Every horse under Sarah has a different feel, their own quirks, and a different set of expectations. Getting the most out of each one, in back-to-back runs, across multiple disciplines, at major shows, requires more than talent. It requires feel. It requires trust. It requires the kind of quiet, consistent horsemanship that horses respond to.

The results tell part of the story. The horses tell the rest.

These are not horses just going through the motions. These are horses competing at the highest level because of the intentionality behind them. That reflects as much on the quality of horses under Sarah as it does on the rider on top.

And the physical demand on those horses is real. Hard stops, spins, pattern work, cow work, and the grind of hauling and stalling takes a toll. Managing that load, keeping those horses healthy, sound, and willing from one run to the next, is where good horsemanship and good horse care meet.

Sarah does both.

Sarah Rose's Routine

Supporting horses at this level of performance takes consistency, intentionality, and the right foundation. Sarah Rose keeps her program focused on whole-system support.

• Four Sixes Multi-Vitamin & Mineral helps keep Sarah’s horses covered by filling the nutrient gaps that come with showing, stalled time, travel, and changing forage. It provides bioavailable vitamins and trace minerals so the foundation of their program stays consistent no matter where they are competing.

• Four Sixes Complete Gut Protection provides gastric and hindgut support all in one.  This formula helps maintain digestive balance through hauling, training, show schedules, and management changes. With prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics, it supports the entire gastrointestinal tract so horses stay comfortable, eating, and performing at their best.

• Four Sixes Joint Health Pellets support the joints and connective tissue that take the impact of hard stops, spins, and daily training. With targeted anti-inflammatory ingredients that go past just the building blocks, it helps keep Sarah’s horses moving their best.

• Four Sixes Electrolyte Recover Powder Paste help replace the minerals horses lose through sweat during training and showing, encouraging hydration and supporting recovery after long days in the pen and on the trailer.

Here's to great horses, epic horsemanship, and intentional care that stands the test of time. We cannot wait to see all Sarah Rose accomplishes in the months and years to come.

At Four Sixes Equine supplements our approach is built around supporting the whole horse, not just reacting to problems after they show up. These are not band-aid solutions. They are part of a daily management approach built on the same steady principles that have guided horse care at the Four Sixes Ranch for generations.
