Here's to the Great Horses: Meet Cornbread

Heavens Got Credit, aka Cornbread, owned by 6666 Equine Supplements ambassador and professional barrel racer Mindy Holloway, entered the 2025 National Finals Rodeo prepared for the moment and played a key role in helping Kassie Mowry secure the World Championship.

It’s no secret that our ambassadors are exceptional horsemen.
But the true superstars are their equine partners.

These are the horses riders depend on every day. From long hours on the ranch to high pressure moments in the arena. Our ambassadors count on these elite horses that show up to work every single day.

If you did not know his name before the 2025 National Finals Rodeo, you do now.

Heavens Got Credit, better known as Cornbread.

Cornbread is owned by 6666 Equine Supplements ambassador, professional barrel racer and trainer Mindy Holloway.

A Horse Built for Big Moments

Cornbread did not arrive in Las Vegas as an unknown.

By the time the 2025 season rolled around, he already carried a proven record and years of careful development behind him. That foundation mattered when the call came just one week before the National Finals Rodeo.

World Champion Kassie Mowry needed another horse for the biggest stage in barrel racing. Mindy did not hesitate.

She had developed Cornbread from a young age and knew exactly what she had. Early in his career, he showed elite ability, including setting an arena record as a four year old at Old Fort Days in Fort Smith. His path was not uninterrupted. An injury cut his futurity year short, followed by a long rehabilitation and kissing spine surgery that required patience and careful management before his return to competition.¹

Mindy brought him back deliberately. She hauled him selectively and chose his runs with intention, allowing him to stay confident and sound as he built his career.

By 2025, Cornbread had earned over two hundred sixty thousand dollars in recorded earnings. He was seasoned, steady, and prepared for pressure.¹

When he stepped into the Thomas and Mack Center midway through the Finals, he stayed exactly who he had always been. In Round 6, Cornbread and Mowry clocked a 13.42 second run to win the round and collect another major check.

The bright lights of Vegas didn’t faze him. They revealed the work that had already been done.

Keeping a horse consistent at this level takes more than talent. It takes daily care that supports the whole horse through training, hauling, and competition.

Mindy supports Cornbread with a simple, steady program.
